Christmas 12/26/08

Everyone arrived early the next morning, from flying in from Kansas. We had a great time together at the beach. It was my first opportunity to cook a huge turkey...I was thankful for Tim's sense of humor and help during the "turkey prepping process". If you know me well, you know I'm not fond of raw meat of any kind...touching it, smelling it, nothing. So, I convinced Tim to fish the giblets out and wash this beast in the sink for me. I took care of the rest though...basting it and all. It turned out well, and I'd be happy to do it again sometime!

Kairis also enjoyed opening up her first Christmas presents from grandma and grandpa Thomas, as well as from Aunt Karen.

We also enjoyed walking around downtown Seaside and taking Kairis on her first carousel ride! We all loved it!
