I have been terrible at updating this blog, but I just HAD to skip ahead to tonight (don't worry, I will someday update this again with all the new "happenings" that have passed by months prior)...it was a sweet moment I don't want to forget.
Kairis was eating broccoli tonight while sitting in my lap at the table. We were sharing a sweet moment when I asked her if she wanted to give mama a hug. She nodded her head "yes" while shaking it up and down vigorously. I leaned in and she wrapped her little arms around my neck and just gave me the sweetest squeeze in the world. She stayed there for awhile and I melted. She then proceeded to look me in the eyes and give me "eskimo kisses" (nose kisses basically).
Aww....I was speechless. It was a moment I won't soon forget and one that was especially meaningful. I am so thankful for my tenderhearted, thoughtful little girl.
