Kairis, your Auntie Angel was your first aunt to visit you....Aunt Karen and Aunt Mary will be coming this Christmas! Aunt Angel stayed with us for a few days and you and her got to share in a wonderful "first" together. The beach! You both had never been to the Ocean before, so your dad and I had a great time showing you both our favorite spot. We went to our special coffee shop, Pacific Way in Gearhart. This is the place your dad and I go every year to write letters to one another and re-evaluate our goals on an annual basis. This place holds special significance to us. You got to see Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, Gearhart, and Seaside on this trip. It was a bit windy, but all in all, you loved the Ocean. We can't wait to see you crawling and then walking next spring and summer....we're looking forward to lots of sand castle building together!
In one of these pictures, you'll notice you're sucking on your thumb. You LOVE your thumb, and have been sucking on your hand or thumb from nearly day one...but most especially the past three or so weeks. So cute! I remember when you were born, and you had a weird hicky-like mark on your wrist. Dr. Mitchell said it was from you sucking on your wrist in the womb.
