My first smiles on camera!

Kairis, you started smiling early in your life....I think one of your first official smiles was to me on my b-day! I'll never forget changing your diaper that morning and having you beam up at me. What a special b-day present to your mom! Here are some of your first smiling pictures we captured.

That sounds awfully funny...belated bath time? Like, I haven't given Kairis a bath in a long time? No, actually I bathe her nearly every day, but just forgot to post these adorable pics of her a few weeks ago that were taken! She was looking so relaxed, we just couldn't help ourselves....

Every day when Tim comes home from work, he says hello to his girls, showers and comes back downstairs to give hugs and kisses to us all. He also inevitably asks for the camera and probes his lovely wife to take a few shots of him and his darling girl. :) So, here are a few from the past few days....notice Tim's hair cut as of yesterday!

My 80's style dinosaur pants!

Last Saturday Tim and I enjoyed shopping around the SE and NE parts of Portland for the day. We enjoyed some fun kids resale shops in the area and also some lunch at a new cafe. We stopped in at Bella Stella's and found these adorably cute dino pants for Kairis.....so 80's but so rad! ;) We had to get them! Here are some fun pics from our day.

More Milestones...

I'm posting this to remind me to put up pictures of it when I'm on the desktop computer, as we don't have current pics on the laptop I'm using tonight. Anyway...Kairis is doing so many new things and making our lives even brighter every day!! Every morning when she wakes up, I go in and get her and change her diaper. This is when I get the most smiles and almost....almost, laughs! She's so cute! She is smiling by recognition now. I can tickle her tummy or under her arms, and she will give me a big grin too. Whenever Tim comes home from work and he starts to talk to her, she smiles big at him too. So cute!! We're loving this stage. She goes to bed at around 8 or 9pm and sleeps until 7am consistently now. She's remarkable. She is also extending her elbows all the way while on her tummy and trying to roll over a bit. I am sooo not ready for my baby to grow up....but yet, every new thing she does makes me happy. She falls asleep in my sling every time we go out shopping....she loves that thing! I just got a new carrier for her, a beco. Super happy about this! I'll post pics of her adorable smiles and other milestones soon. Just had to get this one down for the books! :)

Kairis is...

Sleeping through the night (she started this over a week ago now, officially!) Generally goes down between 8-9pm and wakes up between 5:30-7am.

Smiling every morning during her diaper changes. Started to laugh too, and make cute sounds. She likes looking at the black and white pictures of Tim and I on the wall while laying down. Her smiles are so precious.

Holding her head up well, and doesn't need a whole lot of extra support.

Alert and holds eye contact extremely well for her young age. She's going to be a smart one!!

Disliking her car seat and gets irritated if we're sitting in traffic for too long. :)

Our darling girl, and we're loving her more and more each day.
