It's been too long since I've posted more pictures and stories of our little "corn bug". Kairis, we've had so many adventures lately....we spent your first Christmas at the beach in Seaside, and your grandparent's and Aunt's, Karen and Mary visited you for the first time this Christmas. I'm sitting here in front of our beautiful Christmas tree wondering when I'll start Christmas traditions with you, officially. I look forward to reading you lots of Christmas stories, decorating cookies and making paper snowflakes with you someday. A few things I've caught you doing lately...
3 weeks ago you started saying "mama" when you get tired and start crying a little. It's so sweet.
You also know the "milk" sign, and get excited and antsy when you're hungry and we do that sign and say "milk" to you. I can't wait to start teaching you more signs! You seem to pick things up very quickly; I think you're already brilliant. ;)
You like playing in your excersaucer and enjoy chewing on toys.
You love your daddy and love smiling at him when he gets home from work.
You're ticklish. You love your tummy to be tickled, and sometimes your neck and toes too! You have THE CUTEST giggle--I love listening to you!
You are rolling over more and more now, but somehow, your dad and I always miss it--you have usually flipped over on your back in the morning when we go in to get you up in the mornings.
One of my favorite things about you is that you are an absolute morning person! You always wake up incredibly happy and smiling. It's definitely you're best part of the day, though you don't have many fusses times anyway.
Though you love people, and engaging in social outings with mom and dad, you feel most secure when I or daddy are holding you close. You take some time to warm up in new settings, but do well after we talk about it a bit with you. You are so perceptive.
I can't wait to see how you continue to develop, and see what strengths God has blessed you with. Here are some pictures to catch up on things that we've been up to in the past month.
