Updates

Kairis, I thought you might enjoy learning what your parents are up to these day. :) Your daddy is in school full time, as is your mommy. We go to class one evening a week, Thursday's while you stay with Grandma Patty, Great Grandma Kay, and Great Aunt Linda. Great Grandpa is there too, but he usually hangs out with Lady, the family dog. The rest of the week you and I hang out together. I love our days together! You usually let me sleep in a bit and wake up at around 8am or so. I'm spoiled! You spend a lot of time in the different baby carriers I have while I cook, clean house, check email, do homework....and my favorite past time...reading. :) We're reading Harry Potter together now, and I'd like to think you'll enjoy the books when you're much older. Daddy works full time at Greg Bauer Flooring, and though it's not his ideal job, he's making it work for us. I'm proud of him! He does your night time routine every night and loves spending quality time with you when he's home from work in the early evenings. Then, he hits the books from about 9-12midnight doing school work Monday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday's. He's such a hard worker!

The other morning I woke up hearing you talking. I went into your room and found you laying on your back! I was so surprised! You must have rolled over in your sleep. You're favorite moments I think are when I go into your room to get you up. You start smiling when I talk to you even though you can't even see me yet! It's so cute. You are enjoying tummy time more and more and drooling like crazy these days. I noticed the drool and you putting things in your mouth more, like toys and hands since about two days after you turned 12 weeks. You caught your first official cold on Tuesday. I think you picked it up from daddy, as he has been sick for a week now. You seem to be getting better, so we're thankful.
