I <3 Family!

I love my family!

I'm 5 weeks young...and lookin' pretty!

This is one of my favorite dresses....daddy's classmates bought this for you!

And just in case we didn't capture enough pictures...here are some more! Believe it or not, you actually get a lot of compliments on your adorable feet and long toes!

Mom n' Me!

Kairis, you love to snuggle in bed with me, especially in the early mornings when dad brings you in after he feeds you, as he's headed out to work. If I'm lucky, you fall back to sleep for an hour or two and we enjoy a later morning together. :)

Dad tried his best to get some cute "candid" pictures of you while he was rocking you in the chair. These will be fun to look at later, to see who your future kids look the most like, from the face up.

Mom & Dad's 5 Year Anniversary!! (and your first time away from home...)

We celebrated 5 years of life together in downtown Portland for one night last weekend. We had a great time, and enjoyed sharing our darling daughter with her god-parents, Joel and Lani for a night. They were thrilled to have her, and we were excited for the time to get away and spend some quality time together.
Kairis, daddy tried to take some pictures of you smiling...we'll be getting more of your special smiles on camera soon!

Daddy Daughter Time

Kairis, your dad works so hard during the days while we're off having loads of fun at home! When he's home in the evenings, he insists on feeding you and starting your night time routine.Bath, bottle, pj's...even a song or two! You're a lucky girl, little one. Here are some fun shots of your special times with your daddy.

Best Kitty Friend

Emma was startled out of her little kitty mind when Kairis came along. Emma hid for the first week at least, and didn't know what to make of Kairis' cry and other strange new noises. Emma has warmed up significantly in the past few weeks, and is now commonly found sleeping under the crib while Kairis naps, in her Maclaren bouncer seat, despite how many things I put inside it to keep her from climbing in, or snuggled up next to Kairis and I in the early mornings in bed. I think Emma is adjusting well, and Kairis doesn't seem to mind her "meows" and sniffs from time to time.

Aunt Mary's Blankie

Aunt Mary made this adorable blanket for you, Kairis. You love how soft it is, and I know that in a few months you'll probably enjoy sucking on the ribbon edging too :) For now though, I'll just enjoy watching you slumber under your new blankie.
